Tercel parts.
Speaking of, I parked next to a longbed the other day and ended up chatting with the elderly owner because he was poking around under the hood when I got back. He has possibly given me a local source for old Toyota parts (or he gave me a source that disappeared 30 years ago but it feels like yesterday to him). I haven’t had a chance to look into it yet.

Your property values have probably halved because of that combo of the portable storage box and the glorified volkswagen

It’s got the 3.0, which is probably why it still runs.

A worse engine than the damn near bulletproof 2.8 it replaced. Noisy, leaky, sort of hard to work on, expensive parts, crappy fuel economy, and not very good at anything, mind, but damn near bulletproof.

I believe they have some limit on how long one of these can stay in a location. They go back to a warehouse until the person needs them again, or they’re shipped to a destination.
